Job Description

Technical

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Backbone Program between BP and ASCO and ensure that BP requirements are built in to Backbone implementation.
• Implementation of the BP processes in the Backbone project: Provide BP process pre-deployment, go- live and sustain support in line with Backbone Schedule.
• Consult/review with BP and provide support to other teams within Materials Management and Warehouse Operations.
• Oversee all preparations within Maximo and ASCO warehouse locations ensuring that Locations are standardised prior to the migration of SAP. Ensure that all ASCO procedures and Work Instructions are amended/communicated accordingly.
• Accept, schedule and distribute tasks accordingly for warehouse staff.
• Ensure the input in tracking software for all purchased, required and issued materials and equipment involving Backbone/Preservation/Walkdown activity.
• Ensure Purchase Orders for materials and equipment, incoming and outgoing in accordance with AzSPU Materials Technical Integrity Strategy are accurately prepared and filed.
• Ensure that material deemed for stock is updated in tracking software and stored in proper bin locations
• Ensure that all materials going into tracking software meet requirements as it pertains to required documentation. 
• Ensure that all supporting documentation is accurately filed in accordance with relevant BP Materials Control procedures and AzSPU Materials Integrity Strategy.
• Ensure that any materials that are issued are properly recorded in tracking software and that any material that does not contain the proper documentation or receipt requirements are quarantined until further action is agreed. 
• Support / lead walkdown inventory counts ensuring proper records are kept and unloaded to ASCO controlled data base.
• Monitor the progress of activities as related to the project plans and ensure that management is aware of any gaps or delay that may occur.
• Partake in regular briefings with ASCO PSCM Supply Base Team.
• Other reasonable tasks as required by ASCO Management.

HSEQ

• Monitoring and prevention of unsafe situations.
• Participation in ‘BOSS’ and conduct regular Advanced Safety Audits.
• Ensure that all Warehouse personnel wear appropriate PPE.
• Maintain housekeeping standards by involving all warehouse team.
• Ensure that all warehouse personnel have the right and appropriate documentation and certification to carry out responsibilities, which are required for their position and are properly trained in all aspects of their job function.
• Complete all work within British Petroleum’s (BP) Safe System’s of Work (SSOW) practices as guided by BP’s 8 golden rules of safety.
• Maintain awareness of the potential significant environmental and social aspects and impacts of the operation.
• Constantly look for and act in the ways that reduce the health and safety risks, and the environmental, social, and security impact of your job and initiate improvements.

Customers

• Liaison with client, contractor and 3rd parties.
• Communicate and maintain good working relationship with customers and clients:

BP Backbone management and co-ordinators
ASCO Walkdown Team
ASCO Preservation Team

Person Requirements

• Ability to communicate and be a team member
• Ability to drive change and be innovative
• Ability to identify priorities, co-ordinate resources and manage the performance of operations activities
• Ability to participate in and chair client interface meetings in relation to backbone.
• An ability to work under pressure and meet established guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Experience in Warehouse processes and operations in a MC/Supervisor role years.
• Background and experience in Materials/Inventory Management related role.
• Knowledge and working experience in SAP inventory module.
• In depth knowledge of Maximo 5.2 would be an asset.
• Good command of English, Azeri and Russian.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to accurately handle paperwork and documentation in a controlled environment
• Ability to communicate and maintain good working relationship with Client and co-workers
• Ability to coordinate and supervise the work force team
• Leadership and mentorship skills.
• A minimum of 5 years related experience in industry.
• Thorough understanding of HSE requirements & behaviour.
• Project management experience.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of British Petroleum’s (BP) Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
