Job Purpose

To assist Finance Manager in accounting, auditing and local compliances including tax, statutory reporting & working capital Management.

Direct Reporting Line Regional Finance Manager

Key Accountabilities

- Issue receivable invoices to Clients and third-party service providers;
- Reconcile receivable and recharge accounts and make correcting journal entries as needed;
- Communication with external parties (clients, internal and external auditors);
- Issue reconciled and approved credit notes when required;
- Preparation of project accounting reports on a monthly basis
- Preparation of receivable and recharge accounts accruals based on approved reports;
- Preparation of the Debtor report on monthly basis;
- Capitalization and reconciliation of CAPEX items into Fixed Assets module;
- Post all fuel related entries and Fuel Reconciliation;
- Prepare & Review Regional expected collections report. Controlling of overdue invoices status;
- Preparation of ad hoc management reports;

Skills:

- ARIBA Internet Network – SAP AR modules
- Oracle ERP products
- Internet Banking

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant, CPA or ACCA qualified with knowledge on IFRS

Minimum Experience:

- Minimum 5-7 years’ relevant industry experience in an international company of which at least 3 years should be as Chief Accountant.
- Exposure to Azerbaijan tax system is must. Exposure to taxes of other Caspian countries is preferred.

Job-Specific Skills:

- Expert knowledge on Excel. Knowledge of JDE is preferred.
