AA Services is a leading waste management company in Azerbaijan. The company has been providing waste management services for numerous companies in the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan for over 15 years and has obtained ISO: 9001, ISO: 14001, OHSAS: 18001 certifications.

The Company is pleased to announce a vacancy for the following position.

Title:                      Chief accountant

Job responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual Financial Statement as per IFRS and in compliance with Azerbaijan Legislation and according to PSA and NON-PSA
• Preparing of periodical external financial and taxes reports for Administration of Taxes, State Social Protection Foundation,
• Process and assist with payables and receivables
• Manage fixed asset registers
• Manage and process salary and payment transactions
• Analyze accounting records
• Analyze current and past budgets, prepare and justify budget requests
• Research economic and financial developments that affect the organization
• Recommend approval of requests for funds and advise staff on cost analysis and fiscal allocations
• Examine budgets and seek new ways to improve efficiency and increase profits
• Prepare and review budget estimates and proposals for completeness; accuracy; and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives
• Experience in cost control of capital projects
• Any other duties which may be reasonably required by Finance Manager


Requirements: 

• Four years or more experience in finance/accounting
• CIMA /ACCA/ MBA knowledge
• Experience with 1C or related computer accounting systems
• International qualifications or attendance on relevant course
• Excellent spoken and written English and Azeribaijani languages
• Proven ability to work under pressure
• Responsibility
• Dedication to detail
• Good report writing
