Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate the economic conditions surrounding business activity such as industry trends and competition;
• Responsible for identifying new business by selling into assigned territories;
• Develop key client relationships; develop expertise on assigned clients and their business;
• Prepare the Business Development and Work Plan; Define and follow up of yearly targets and objectives;
• Grow sales typically through consultative selling with significant revenue targets;
• Meet or exceed sales budget and for the delivery of service to meet the clients expectations;
• Secure sufficient financial resources for future development or expansion;
• Develop a situation analysis including company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the future of the business;
• Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs;
• Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities;
• Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments;
• Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals;
• Build effective partnership relationships with key individuals including the decision-makers within the appropriate segments;
• Develop and update of the monthly forecast;
• Manage client expectations while working to create a feeling of mutual respect between the Company and the client;
• Maintain extensive knowledge of all Company services and systems to successfully service and cultivate accounts.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Business Development Manager;
• Graduate from Marketing, Business Management, Economics or corresponding;
• Fluent in Azerbaijan, English and Russian;
• High level computer, communication and presentation skills;
• High level knowledge of IT systems, software and hardware solutions;
• Ability to work under pressure, persistence and diligence, ability to work in a team.
