Offshore Welder/Dənizdə Qaynaqçı
Location: Offshore
Department: Technical Integrity
Employment Type: 15/15 offshore- based
Offshore Welder is responsible for welding repair work, flame cutting, modifications and fabrication on the drilling unit.
Key responsibilities:
To comply with labour and production discipline, and with the instruction for safe use of the equipment;
To check, before starting the work, his/her working place, tools and other means;
To ensure that welding of various types of flammable materials is done after they are washed with hot water, steam and caustic soda;
To use manual carts or special stretchers for replacing the gas jars within the site;
To prevent contact of the jar and hoses’ electric current with crossing lines;
To ensure that protective, cutting, hose reducers and valves are always in working condition;
Qualifications / Experience / Competencies:
Initial professional welder education;
Or relevant experience;
Ability to work in a team.
