Smape is a privately owned Italian partnership operating as an international provider for the following service-lines: Coiled Tubing, Nitrogen, Pumping and Stimulation, Through-Tubing Tools, Pipe-Line Services, Chemical Injection.

The objective of our company is to provide specialized oilfield services worldwide in compliance with industry recognized best practices, standards, quality, safety and environmental requirements.

Design engineer

Ideal candidate is a motivated and proactive fresh O&G engineer with solid technical background and knowledge of pumps, engines and other well maintenance equipment.

Ability to work and contribute in a technical team as a team player. Ability to calculate data, pressures, flow, etc.

Required: bachelor degree in engineering (preferable mechanic or mining), min. 2 years of experience preferred O&G.
Fluency in English, driving license B.

Available to work abroad on rotation 28/28.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform his duties in compliance with QHSE Plan and HSE targets, demonstrating high commitment to HSE and actively promoting Partnership and customers’ targets.
• Analyse technical issues coming from the well sites and deliver feasible and innovative technical solutions to the Customer and Operations Manager.
• Promote Partnership’s solutions, services and goods to improve the volume and quality of operations under the existing contracts.
• Attend meeting with customers’ representatives to discuss technical issues and solutions.
• Prepare technical documents related to operating activities (feasibility analysis, technical reports, working practices, operational programs, coiled tubing pumping designs and schedules, fluid formulation designs, coiled tubing string and BHA design, job planning, etc.).
• Prepare documents and programs, organization of trainings or seminars of personnel in cooperation and under the guidelines issued by Human Resources.
• Prepare the CT Service Job Proposal.
• Provide technical support to the Operations Manager.
• Participate in risk assessments.
• Manage Coiled Tubing String database based on the data received from the operational line.
• Issue directives for maintenance of Coiled Tubing strings.
• Utilises Computer Aided Design (CAD) in the development of parts, equipment and systems
• Provide technical support to Operations Manager for chemicals issues.
• Can be appointed team leader to develop and implement special projects.
• Share expertise, knowledge and innovative solutions with the Operations Manager and all operative line.
