Position: HR Business Partner

Job purpose

The purpose of the HR business partner role is to make sure human resource policy and procedure throughout the organization fit the needs and goals of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Partners with leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity
• Analyzes data trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
• Conducts ongoing supply and demand analysis on current and future staffing and skill needs and designs strategies to meet those needs
• Reviews, guides, and approves management recommendations for employment terminations and reassignments
• Actively participates in recruitment campaigns, job fairs and general networking to ensure robust candidate pipeline.
• Provides guidance to leadership on performance management practices
• Actively participates in annual budget planning/labor forecasting process with business partners.
• Considers the costs of planned programs and keeps within the budget, assessing the return on investment of any training or development program
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; collaborate with the legal department when necessary
• Maintain awareness of the plans, financial position and competition of the organization under the HR purview
• Suggest new HR strategies

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Human Resources Management or other closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in senior HR position
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent people management skills
• Analytical and goal-oriented
• Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Fluent in Azerbaijani and English languages
