Position: Senior Lawyer

Job responsibilities:

• Demonstrate skills in drafting numerous forms of legal documentation (non-disclosure agreements, terms and conditions etc.)
• Draft and review, including amendments, renewals, and terminations, and other contracts.
• Actively participate in contract negotiations.
• Provide guidance on contracting standards.
• Identify risk, determine the level of risk, and develop contracting strategies to mitigate Company`s exposure to this risk.
• Monitor compliance with internal business and legal processes and policies.
• Recommend, develop, and implement contracting policies, procedures, and processes.
• Prepare contract summaries or issues lists to present to attorney, management or customers for review, if applicable.
• To be aware about new laws, regulations, and industry trends that affect the business.

Job requirements:

• Master degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Lawyer role within a large international organizations.
• Excellent commercial contract drafting skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to ever changing timelines and changes in priority
• Ability to work with larger team in seeking efficiencies for legal support
• Aptitude to manage simultaneous projects in an efficient and timely manner
• Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijan and English languages.
