In March 2015 the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and KBR announced an agreement to establish a new engineering and support Services Company in Azerbaijan. The legal entity name of the new company is SOCAR-KBR LLC and provides design, engineering, technical, procurement, construction supervision and project management services for projects across the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas sectors, in the Azerbaijan – Georgia – Turkey (AGT) region. The key objective of this strong partnership is to create a world class Azerbaijan-based EPCM services company that will utilize the strength of both organizations and deliver top quality results by utilizing, developing and promoting Azerbaijani national content. The company has a long term commitment from both organizations.

Job Title : Site Technical Query Coordinator

Responsibilities:

- Continually demonstrates site safety role-model behaviours.
- Be the focal point for all STQ raised by fabricator covering all aspects of the scope including Topsides, Drilling & Living Quarters.
- Provide initial screening of incoming STQs from fabricator. Work closely with Construction / Commissioning / SOCAR-KBR Site team to ensure that any queries are valid and can be understood.
- Assign STQs to the responding party (Client Construction, Client Commissioning, SOCAR-KBR, Drilling contractor or Living Quarters contractor) as appropriate
- Monitor, expedite and consolidate STQ responses back to fabricator.
- Ensure that any STQ responses are clear and can be understood.
- If further explanation on the STQ response is required, then facilitate any clarification discussions with the STQ responder.
- Identification of changes and providing support to the management of change (MOC) process.
