Cooking Instructor Assistant

• Assisting teachers during art/cooking/music classes for all the age groups;
• responsibility for leading a class;
• organizing the classroom and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment;
• motivating children with enthusiastic, imaginative classes;
• providing feedback to parents  on a child's progress;
• working with others to plan and coordinate work;
• organizing and taking part in club events and activities if taking place at weekends or in the evening;
• liaising with colleagues, building good working relations and working with flexibility;
• cover other classes if required;
• give a tour to potential parents, provide club information if requested;
• doing any administrative work required for classes;
• Supervise children in between classes if required.

Requirements

• To be enthusiastic about teaching and cooking
• Dedication to children who have diverse backgrounds and academic levels
• To be interested in cooking and healthy alternatives to traditional recipes
• Experience working with groups of children in a nursery, school, camp, etc.
• Effective classroom management skills, with teaching experience preferred
• Punctuality and reliability
• Fluency in Azeri, English, Russian
• At least 1 year experience as instructor/nursery teacher/teacher assistant.
