The ICRC Delegation in Azerbaijan is seeking candidates for the position of:
Dispatcher 1
Purpose:
Dispatcher 1 dispatches vehicles in a safe, objective-driven and economical manner and organizes drivers’ assignments.
Main responsibilities:
Manage transport requests, drivers, vehicle and generator servicing and maintenance, insurance and vehicle accidents
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES
Fleet management
Responsible for management of transport requests for Baku site and organizes and coordinates the work of drivers and distributions of daily driver tasks
Responsible for all driver related issues, compensation, per diem, annual leave requests etc
Provides driver training when required
Ensures that all vehicle related documents are accurate, complete, filled and archived correctly
Ensures that vehicles are checked on daily basis by the drivers and follows all technical problems reported by them
Ensures that all Delegation vehicle are ready to be driven and arranges regular service, maintenance and repairs
Ensures that all vehicle related import, export, registration and de-registration is done in time and when required coordinates these issues with his immediate supervisor and adheres to standard institutional filling rules
Vehicle Insurance
Ensures that all vehicle fleet assets are in compliance with institutional and national rules concerning third party and Casco Insurance
Drivers
Organizes drivers work schedule and distributes tasks fairly
Responsible for all driver, including daily drivers related issues: compensation, per diem, annual leave (AL) schedule and AL requests, working advances, absence, overtime and annual performance appraisals
Be aware of duties of all his subordinates and ensure that they are carried out as required
Fuel management
Monitors, controls, and reports all fuel related issues of vehicle fleet and generators
Ensures that all vehicle and generator fuelling in done properly, recording in log books and fuel receipt are kept and entered to Fleet Management System
Prepares monthly fuel consumptions reports
Vehicle accidents
Responsible all vehicle fleet related accidents, follows all local traffic rules and regulations and institutional regulations
Reports all vehicle related accidents, including small scratches to his immediate supervisor
Fleet Wave Central (FWC)
Manages and operates institutional Fleet Management System (FWC) and ensures that all data entered to the system is acute and updated
Generates reports from fleet management reports when required
Security:
Be aware of all security related issue and implement them in daily activities
Fleet maintenance
Ensures that vehicle fleet servicing and maintenance and vehicles and generators is carried out in accordance with institutional rules and requirements
Plans, organizes and coordinates servicing and maintenance of vehicles done in external workshops
Responsible for all vehicle and generator spare parts, their control and regular inventory, prepares the list of required spare parts and orders them according to institutional rules
Manages and controls the invoices related with spare parts and their preparation for payment and arranges proper filling
Minimum required knowledge skills & experience:
Secondary school or technical/professional school diploma
Good command of English and fluent Azeri
Good computer skills
Driving license B for at least 5 years
2 years of work experience in a similar field of activity
Good knowledge of the geographically assigned environment
Capacity to adhere to and to implement procedures
Good communication skills
Good supervision skills
Rigor, method and analytical skills
Familiarity with all-terrain vehicles and VHF radio
This is a full-time position based in BAKU Delegation.
