Technology/Service Integration, Delivery and Management (SIDM) Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of new VAS systems and applications to network
• Provision of uninterrupted operation of VAS systems, periodic monitoring and technical support
• Integration of newly developed platforms and products into existing eco-system
• Deployment and support of the in-house developed and 3 party services
• Analysis and handling of requests sent by group and divisions
• Dimensioning and, if it needed, upgrade of the services and platforms

Required Background, Skills and Knowledge:

• Higher technical education (computer engineering, applied mathematics or similar)
• Linux systems
• SQL
• Virtualization technologies (theory and basics)
• Linux shell scripting
• Basic networking (TCP/IP protocol stack)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Language Skills:
Azerbaijani - fluent (common understanding)
Russian and English - upper-intermediate

Desired Competencies:

• Work experience in IT/ICT at the positions of platform, DevOps, software engineer or similar
• Programming (Python, Java, etc.)
• GSM-related technologies and protocols
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Git, Ansible, Jenkins
• Cloud technologies
