Job Title : Procurement  Manager 

Reports to:  Project Director

Manages:

• Procurement Activities for the Project

Interfaces with:

• The Azerikimya Project Team
• EPC Contractor
• EPC’s Subcontractor
• SOCAR-KBR LLC
• KBR’s London Operating Centre

Primary Roles and Responsibilities :

• Developing and implementing Procurement Management System, Procurement  plans and procedures on the projects
• Reviewing Contractor procurement activities
• Applies knowledge of procurement of goods and services to support client. 
• Has developed expertise in a variety of work processes or activities typically developed through a combination of job-related training and/or considerable on-the-job experience. 
• Works within established procedures and practices. 
• Has developed expertise of skills in a range of procurement processes, procedures and systems. 
• Is able to assess the Contractor through the complete procurement cycle. 
• Able to ensure the Contractor works to the overall schedule and manages the procurement schedule.
• Uses knowledge of how disciplines relate to one another and related teams to ensure that forward planning alleviates any procurement delays and the achievement of all the procurement objectives are met.
• Gathers and analyses data as provided by the Contractor to identify and solve problems that arise with little or no precedent. Evaluates and communicates in a clear manner.
• Professionally facilitates the exchange of ideas and information in a concise and logical way.
• Consistently interacts with others outside of the team, with client, and with all levels of the organization as necessary.

 Qualifications :   

• Preferred:
   o A degree in Engineering

Experience Required :

•   Minimum of 15 years working on oil and gas projects
