About SOCAR KBR LLC
In March 2015 the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and KBR announced an agreement to establish a new engineering and support services company in Azerbaijan. The legal entity name of the new company is SOCAR-KBR LLC and provides design, engineering, technical, procurement, construction supervision and project management services for projects across the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas sectors, in the Azerbaijan – Georgia – Turkey (AGT) region. The key objective of this strong partnership is to create a world class Azerbaijan-based EPCm services company that will utilize the strength of both organizations and deliver top quality results by utilizing, developing and promoting Azerbaijani national content. The company has a long term commitment from both organisations.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing Quality Management System, QA plans and procedures on the projects
• Conducting Project Quality audits, effective implementation of Corrective and Preventive Action program along with Continual improvement recommendations
• Measure and monitor Corrective, Preventive actions and Continual Improvement recommendations status and report it to the Project Management team
• Review project QA deliverables per the client and contract requirements
• Review various quality related documents and the technical requisitions for quality requirements
• Develop and provide project QMS orientation for the project team
• Provide specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program, training, audits, quality tools for problem solving and assessment
• Implement principles of performance evaluation and prediction methods used to improve system safety, reliability, and maintainability
• Maintain quality standard of project deliverables, plans and procedures that go into work scope
Qualifications:
• Preferred: A degree in engineering
• Minimum: ISO 9001 Lead auditor/Internal auditor course
Experience Required:
• Minimum of 15 years working on oil and gas projects
