Participation at a Workshop for the selection of coaches

The Economic and Social Participation of Internally Displaced People in the Caucasus (EPIC) Project, implemented by the German Development Cooperation, (GIZ) GmbH invites interested parties to apply for a Coaching Workshop on October 15 -16, 2018 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The projects goal is economic and social empowerment of vulnerable internally displaced persons, refugees and local community members by enhancing their employability, facilitating business start-ups, supporting existing businesses and empowering communities.

The two-day workshop will present the coaching and mentoring approach developed and successfully implemented worldwide by Action Against Hunger for employment and business development promotion of vulnerable population and communities (“Entrepreneurship and Employment Shuttles”). The goal of the workshop is to discover, network and share experiences of enthusiastic Azerbaijani trainers and coaches.

The workshop will consist of presentations and group works facilitated by GIZ and Action Against Hunger. Active candidates with the highest potential will be offered to become coaches in the forthcoming Entrepreneurship and Employment Shuttles to be held in Barda, Aghdam and Mingachevir as part of the activities of EPIC project.

Coaches will be competitively remunerated, trained in an internationally recognized training methodology, and provided peer-to-peer support in mentoring and coaching skills. Which provides them with a unique set of knowledge and skills to work as a professional trainer and coach.

Accommodation for the participants from distant districts, including lunch and dinner for all participants will be provided for the workshop duration.

Deadlines for Applications are 9th October 2018, 24:00.

There is no participation fee. Coffee breaks, lunch and dinner on the first day, coffee breaks and lunch on the second day will be provided by GIZ. Participants from outside of Baku will be provided with two-nights accommodation and breakfast.
