Sales Director

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full Sales cycle from lead discovery, sales engagement, sales closure and delivery.
• Personally, close key sales opportunities and manage the sales process.
• Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
• Build a professional and trusting relationship with a client.
• Direct, monitor, and guide International Account Managers/Specialists as well as Business Travel Managers/Specialists.
• Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Negotiate contracts, license agreements, and commercial terms.
• Brief the company leadership on KPI performance on a weekly basis and advise on action plans.
• Ensure the integrity of key accounts, key prospect data base, and monitor the Sales software programs for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Preparing an annual budget for approval and administer that budget in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Develop departmental Business Process Workflows, policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Provide strategic guidance, insight and knowledge about market trends, customer attitudes, and effectiveness of sales strategies.
• Adjust sales strategies and programs to achieve account and financial goals.
• Foster continuous improvement; ensure that all sales activities (sales calls, pipeline development, account planning, customer account reviews, etc.) are efficient, effective and scalable.
• Provide clear and regular communication to sales teams relative to company direction, performance and achievements.
• Ensure world class customer satisfaction and retention.
• Plan strategic partnerships and manage the commercial relationship with them.
• Monitor key markets and regions for competitive activities, trends and marketplace changes.

Requirements:

• Previous senior leadership experience within Sales required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must. Knowledge of Russian and Azerbaijani is preferred.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using Sales software, applications andor relevant computer programs. 
• University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
