Position: Torpaqşünas/Soil scientist

Salary: 500-600 AZN

Job description:

- Applying knowledge of soil science, including the fundamentals of the subject, such as the biological, chemical and physical properties of soils, and their spatial and temporal variability across the landscape;
- Field work, including the collection of soil samples from a range of environments;
- Sending  soil samples to laboratory for analysis;
- Completing paperwork and cataloguing findings;
- Writing research reports and making presentations on findings;
- Integrating soil science knowledge into aspects of land management and ecosystems;

Requirements:

- A bachelor degree in a related discipline (environmental sciences, chemistry, biology); 
- Laboratory experience is an asset;
- Good level of Microsoft Office programs;
- Good command of English and Russian languages;
- Competence in data collection and analysis;
- Presentation and report-writing skills.

Working hours:

- Monday – Friday:  8:30  - 17:30
- Saturday : 10.00  – 16.00

The office is located in “Ashagi Guzdak” region. Transportation will be provided by the company from “20 Yanvar” metro station.
