Premises and Maintenance Responsible
This is a full time position based in Baku. The position might be in the future relocated to Barda.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is seeking for a candidate who will be responsible for the maintenance work at the office and apartments, fire safety, supervision of maintenance worker and cleaning ladies.
Minimum required knowledge & experience:
• High Education in Technical field (University or Institute) or Certificate
• 4 years work experience in a similar field of activity
• Very good technical skills (electricity, plumbing system, heating system, etc.)
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Good computer literacy
• Good rigor, method and analytical skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Management skills
• Capacity to train and to supervise
• Protects organisation’s value by keeping information confidential
Responsibilities:
• Ensures that premises, equipment and infrastructure, are well maintained according to given procedures
• Establishes and maintains contact with suppliers and other external interlocutors
• Organises bids for specific maintenance projects
• Follows up the expenses related to his service
• Ensures proper storage of material or equipment for the use of the department
• Participates in lease agreement negotiations
• Executes office work such as filing of documents, updating of lists and data for statistics purposes, writing of standard report, drafting standard correspondence
• Organizes and supervises activities for Technical Employees, maintenance and other premises related employees
• Checks invoices related to premises
• Performs administrative activities on computer and works independently
• Establishes inventory
• Identifies premises according to the needs
• Responsible for all premises related filings and statistics
• Does all communal payments related to premises
• Monitors water, gas and electricity consumption in premises
• Manages residents keys
• Manages domestic staff roster
• Applies passive security rules in premises and does proper briefing for resident and mobile staff (earthquake, fire etc.)
This is a full-time position with a duty station in Baku, and a selected candidate will be hired as soon as possible.
