Agronomist

Gilan Agricultural Group is looking to recruit an experienced Agronomist for Goychay, Agsu-Kurdamir, Salyan, Lankaran regions to join our highly professional team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare agro technical maps for farm fields;
• Determines the number and types of plants planned to be planted in the areas;
• Prepares irrigation plan of plant areas;
• Prepares periodical reports on conducted actions;
• Responsible on increasing the productivity;
• Participates in preparation of harvest plan & controls the harvest and transport of product;
• Recommends the management on implementing the jobs in timely manner;
• Performs other duties assigned by the Fruit Orchards manager and chief agronomist.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Agriculture or Management fields;
• Relevant orchard education & experience;
• Good knowledge regarding crops and plants;
• Communications and interpersonal skills;
• Computer literate;
• English or Russian would be an advantage;
