Position: Office of General Council (in-house lawyer)

Responsibilities:

- Client and Supplier Contract review to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and internal policies and guidance.
- Assisting in preparing contracts and other legal documents.
- Support in negotiations of contractual terms.
- Corporate matters (registration of companies, making amendments to constitutional documents, preparation of shareholder/board minutes and resolutions, preparation of power of attorneys etc.)
- Providing legal advice on wide range of legal matters. 
- Legal aspects of regulatory issues (including audit regulations).

Requirements:

- University bachelor or masters law degree.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of practicing law.
- Academic and practical knowledge of Azerbaijani legal system and key components of Azerbaijani civil, civil-procedural and commercial legislation.
- Relevant international qualification/degree is an advantage. 
- Fluent English, Azerbaijani and Russian.
- Solid legal writing skills in English, Azerbaijani, Russian.
- Good communication and IT (at least Microsoft Office) skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks. 
- Motivation for professional development and career growth.
- Attentive to details.
- Easy learner.
