Chief Agriculture Engineer

Gilan Agricultural Group is looking to recruit an experienced Chief Agriculture Engineer to join our highly professional team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing reports, sketches, working drawings, specifications and proposals for sites and/or systems in Agricultural group;
• Supervising manufacturing operations and advising on water quality and issues related to pollution management, flood control, ground and surface water resources;  
• Test agricultural machinery and equipment to ensure that they perform properly;
• Improve the processing and storage of agricultural products;
• Identifies, evaluates and recommends specific merger and acquisition opportunities; supports the execution of transactions and assists with managing the details of post-merger integration efforts;
• Conduct educational programs that provide farmers or farm cooperative members with information that can help them improve agricultural productivity;
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance;
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Engineering with substantial knowledge in Agriculture.
• University Degree (Agricultural Engineering or Biological Engineering or related).
• Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues/problems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to PowerPoint and other graphics and/or presentation software.
• Language Skills: Azeri - Native, English – Intermediate and Russian - Advanced.
