Gilan Agricultural Group is looking to recruit an experienced Agronomist to join our highly professional team.

Reporting to the Chemical/Fertilizer Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Search and develop new techniques for farming so that new and useful crops can be grown;
• Responsible to find solutions to some of the everyday problems (or potential problems) farmers face in their fields;
• Create strategies in strengthening crop production and crop management.
• Researchers environmental conditions, weather patterns, harvest schedules, market factors and other issues central to raising crops ;
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance;
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Agriculture or Management fields.
• University Degree (Agriculture or Chemistry/Biology or related).
• Good knowledge regarding crops and plants
• Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues/problems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to PowerPoint and other graphics and/or presentation software.
• Language Skills: Azeri - Native, English – Intermediate and Russian - Advanced.
