About the department

You will join a team of 8 highly skilled professionals, and will be responsible for Medical Affairs issues. Our office is located in Baku and we work all over Azerbaijan.

The position

As the Medical Advisor your main responsibility will be to develop and implement short and long term medical strategy in Azerbaijan in cooperation with BACIS Medical Affairs colleagues and in accordance with the corporate strategy and policies.
You will ensure the correct medical scientific support of positioning of new Novo Nordisk products during pre-launch and launch activities; ensure effective collaboration with external and internal stakeholders; ensure medical education/training of the affiliate team in line with current BACIS and affiliate strategy, and provide medical/scientific support to the sales team; ensure legal review of promotional materials. You will adapt medical information to the local market.
One of your responsibilities will be to handle off-label matters.
You will perform the duty of Local Reporting Responsible to inform the Headquarters per their request of local compliance regulations regarding Health Care Professionals (honoraria fees, compliance requirements of interactions).
Your pharmacovigilance responsibilities: collect and follow up all local adverse events (AEs)/serious adverse events (SAEs) from different sources (Healthcare professionals, sales and marketing personnel, patients, pharmacies; distributors etc.); report the AE/SAE/ changes to the BACIS Pharmacovigilance associate person. You will file all pharmacovigilance documents/reports/logs and pass them to Quality Assurance /Regulatory Affairs specialist for further procedure of local reporting and archiving.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
• You hold a University Degree in Medicine pharmaceuticals
• You are well-organized, responsible, initiative and self-motivated
• English and Russian languages skills are on a proficiency level
• Excellent presentation, communication skills
