The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance. It directs and coordinates the international relief activities conducted by the Movement in situations of conflict. It also endeavours to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles. Established in 1863, the ICRC is at the origin of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

The ICRC Delegation in Azerbaijan is seeking candidate, male or female, for the position of:
 
Administrator for Barda Sub-Delegation (Grade 5)

Minimum required knowledge & experience:

 University degree in Finance, Administration, Accounting, Human Resource, etc
 4 years work experience in a similar field of activity
 Very good knowledge of spoken and written English and Azerbaijani. Russian is an asset.
 Very good computer literacy
 Good rigor, method and analytical skills
 Management skills

Responsibilities:

 Follows up expenses related to administrative department.
 Handles cash payments / cash flow
 Does the cash entries on daily basis, making sure the cash and journal balances are equal
 Contacts suppliers to hand out written checks and collect receipts
 Supports Staff in administrative issues
 Ensures respect of financial procedures and guidelines
 Prepares and executes bank transfers
 Technical support to the budget elaboration and its process
 Ensures information flow on HR issues
 Translates HR related documents
 Plans and organises pick up – drop off and accommodations (residence / hotel etc.)
 Ensures that premises, equipment and infrastructure, are well maintained according to given procedures
 Maintains contact with external interlocutors (lessor's, suppliers, municipal authorities, financial institutions etc..)
 Handles administrative correspondence and filing of administrative doc's
 Handles all incoming/outgoing phone operations
 Receives, processes and prepares incoming/outgoing pouches
 Handles radio contact with cars in the field and update the related database in case of the Logistician’s absence

This is a full-time position with a duty station in Barda, and a selected candidate will be hired as soon as possible.
