The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance. It directs and coordinates the international relief activities conducted by the Movement in situations of conflict. It also endeavours to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles. Established in 1863, the ICRC is at the origin of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

The ICRC Delegation in Azerbaijan is seeking candidate for its Delegation in Baku, male or female, for the position of:
 
Cooperation Field Officer (Grade 4)

Minimum required knowledge & experience:

• University degree (Business Administration, Economics, Law, etc.)
• 4 years work experience in a similar field of activity
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Azerbaijani
• Very good computer literacy
• Good rigor, method and analytical skills

Standard function description:

• Assists Cooperation and other ICRC departments of the delegation (including Barda Sub-Delegation), in managing administrative and financial tasks related to cooperation activities;
• Carries out field trips out of Baku;
• Contributes to the development of working tools/procedures;
• Participates in the preparation and monitoring of the operational cooperation activities;
• Drafts reports and translates documents

This is a full-time position with a duty station in Baku, and a selected candidate will be hired as soon as possible.
