Job title: Procurement Specialist

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree;
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement field;
• Good knowledge of commercial law and regulations;
• Fluent Azerbaijani, English and Russian;
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Problem solving skills;
• Good organizational and administrative skills;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to work well in a team.

Key accountabilities:

• Interacts with department heads to plan and execute purchasing activities.
• Manages preparation and execution of procurement processes.
• Creates documentations necessary for the acquisition of materials and services.
• Reviews planned orders, creates requisitions for purchased items, and manages approval process.
• Implements procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices.
• Review supplies, works and services to ensure compliance with company procedures and best procurement practice.
• Transmits and prioritizes approved purchase orders and supporting documents to supplier.
• Handles contracting process with the suppliers.
• Works with finance team throughout the procurement cycle to assist with forecasting and budgeting.
• Reviews, updates, and maintains purchase orders until they are closed and ensures that orders are adhered to supplier agreements and contracts; reports non-conformances.
