Job Title: Bus Driver
Project: South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion
Work location: Camps in Kurdamir; Goranboy and Aghstafa regions
Reports to: Transport Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Drive Defensively and Courteously at all times
• Never use a vehicle without permission
• Ensure that only authorised passengers are carried in the vehicle and that 3 point seatbelts are worn by all occupants whenever the vehicle is in motion.
• Never use a mobile phone or other two way communication device when the vehicle is in motion.
• Never drive a vehicle aggressively or at speeds too fast for the conditions.
• Never operate or attempt to operate a vehicle while under the influence of drugs and or alcohol.
• Never eat or drink or smoke cigarettes while inside the vehicle
• Obey the traffic laws and the Project Driving Policies, Standards and Procedures 100% of the time
• Have the authority to say No to any person who asks them to rush, take short cuts or break project or road rules.
• Report all accidents and vehicle faults immediately to the Project or Contractor Transport Manager or their delegate.
Requirements:
• D category Driving license
• Ability to drive a vehicle to a competent and safe standard
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as Bus Driver
• Candidates have professional experience within BP projects will be preferred.
