Hydraulic systems engineer

Key responsibilities:

 Perform troubleshooting, repair, and design of mechanical and hydraulic equipment
 Have very good knowledge of hydraulics general principles (HPU hydraulic system, Top Drive Hydraulic Systems, Hydraulic system schematic drawings, hydraulic connections etc.)
 Have very good knowledge of industry standard work principles for  hydraulic pumps, balancing valves, reduction valves, hydraulic manifold systems, hydraulic control systems, electro-hydraulic valves, hydraulic accumulators etc.
 Understand and be able to fulfill maintenance tasks according to CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)
 Maintain high standard of personal safety in the workplace, advise safety & senior staff of hazards, potential hazards & incidents,
 Improve the quality of repairs, improvement of operation and current service of equipment, participate in development of maintenance process in extending exploitation period of equipment between maintenance
 Monitor the quality of repairs, reduction of time and cost of repairs, increasing strength of parts, prevention of defects, and take actions on improving the quality of equipment repairs
 Understand the requirement and be able to provide and maintain an equipment history register
 Analyze period equipment failures root cause analysis
 Carry out repair and testing of equipment
 Competence in developing maintenance structure, strategy and annual plans for ordering spare parts, oils, tools and other materials for maintenance-operation of equipment.
 Involved in checking the technical condition of equipment and its adaption after repair.
 Control conformity of drilling equipment and hydraulic systems complying  to OEM requirements
 Understand the requirement for and be able to carry out lubrication analyses

General requirements:

• High Technical education
• Be informed about company operations and basic knowledge of technical terminology
• Information on equipment and devices
• Strong analytical skills
• Microsoft Office programs
