ATL Electronics (www.sharphome.az) is in the business of trading in white goods of various reputed international brands like Sharp, Samsung, LG, Phillips etc. It also is an exclusive distributor of SHARP branded products in Azerbaijan.
ATL Electronics runs its wholesale operation under the trade name of Global Supply Chain Professionals (GSCP) while the retail operations through a chain of retail stores under the brand name “Galaxy” that offers consumer electronics and home appliances including Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Televisions and etc. It has a chain of five stores, one on the prestigious Bul Bul Prospekt in Baku, 2 stores in the Sedarek Market on the outskirts of Baku and two in Ganja.
Today we are looking for a successful candidate to fill in the position of Category Manager
Role and Main responsibilities:
• Development and management of the category Small home appliances;
• Providing clients with customer focused insights regarding the product and category;
• Research and analyze consumer data to develop marketing strategies for a variety of product types, small home appliances;
• Creating and developing a long-term plan and strategy for development of the category;
• Becoming a leader in category ranging, pricing and promotions across customer channels;
• Collaborate with sales representatives, advertising personnel and purchasers to create detailed marketing plans;
• Arrange data into proposals, which they present to companies, retailers and vendors;
• Demonstrated creativity in developing products and programs.
Required skills, qualifications and competences:
• Communication with customers;
• Knowledge of electronics and small home appliances;
• Analytical and strategic thinking
• Sense of responsibility;
Required education and work experience:
• University degree, a full secondary
• 2+ years category management experience.
Required languages
• Azerbaijan, Russian, English
Preferable skills
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, 1C;
• Openness for new initiatives, fast learner, proactive
