POSITION:  CNC Lathe Operator

LOCATION:   Baku-Azerbaijan

START DATE:   ASAP

WORKING SCHEDULE:  5 days/week, plus overtime as and when required

TYPE OF CONTRACT:  Permanent

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: Oilfield Manufacturing/Repair Machine Shop

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

Produces Machined Parts by Setting up, and Operating a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine; Program Editing ; (Adjusting Three and Four-Jaw Chucks, Tools, Attachments); Maintaining Quality and Safety Standards; Keeping Records; Maintaining Equipment and Supplies; Must be Able to work to Fine Tolerances (±0.002”)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:

Education: Grade 10-12 Mathematics

Experience:

• 2 - 5 years Practical Experience on CNC Lathes
• Must have experience in manufacturing and Oilfield Industry
• Knowledge of API or Grant Prideco Threads
• Experience on setting and basic programming (Turning)
• Fanuc control operating and setting (Turning)
• Mazak control operating and setting, will be added advantage (Turning)
• Able to read and interpret Technical Drawings
• Able to use digital and clock Verniers
• Able to use inside and outside Micrometres
• Able to setup machine jaws, tooling and adjusting offsets
• Basic Word, Excel and Outlook experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS: English, Azeri, Russian.
