Chief Accountant at retail industry in a Private Group

Responsibilities:
a) Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role
b) Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations
c) Responsible for all taxes obligations
d) Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
e) Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
f) Responsible for timely financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting, and tax returns for submission
g) Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries
h) Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the preparations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.
i) Issue project cost reports for review and approval.
j) Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
k) Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns

Requirements:
a) University degree in finance, accounting, business administration, other related fields of study
b) ACCA/CIMA partly completion
c) At least 2-3 years of work experience in related field.
d) High command of local tax legislation
e) High standard of written and spoken English and Azeri
f) Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
