Project coordinator

Purpose of the position

To assume responsibility for all aspects of customer assistance in regards to and customs clearance import/export activities of road freight, rail freight, airfreight transit.
Ensure and maintain operational excellence, high productivity and customer satisfaction as per Company IMS, HSE quality systems standards and SCPX and SD2 specific SOP. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Daily assistance of operational and customs clearance actives of the client covering international mode of transport; assisting the project team in Baku.
- Customer Service, communication and co-operation with on time execution
- Maintain good relationships with client; and cross functional relation with project offices.
- Ensure administration of client 
- Follow SOPs and guidelines of PA IMS Procedures in line with Regional/Area standards, HSSE standard; and the one specific dictated by the Project
- Comply and promote HSSE rules best practices and culture, in accordance with project specific and statutory regulation on the Republic of Azerbaijan.
- Updates and minimize/correct errors and omissions thought Company Internal data base and all required spreadsheet report.
- Notify any shortfall in service levels to the project office of colleagues and update on important activities. 
- Responsible to any client property and bares fill obligation in case of misuse and damage
- Preforms job in compliance with Company Policy and Business of Conduct
Any other task assigned by Direct Line Manager, KPI compliance and passion for solution oriented.
Preparation of BPSD and SCPX letters.
Daily updated of report in internet system
Monthly statistic report to be provided to Customs Leader
Achieving of completed jobs with proper guidelines.

Disciplinary responsibility over assigned customer service with operational duties in conjunction with Project Supervisor / Project Managers (SCPX and SD2)
 
Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working
 
Expertise in the area of Projects
Know how in air / ocean / overland (rail and road freight) logistics / SCM
Understanding of Company strategy and products on the specific SD2 and SCPX Project
Knowledge about markets and competitors
DGR /ADR /IATA/IMDG knowledge including radioactive source
Basic Knowledge about local custom clearance and good eyes for details
Understanding of business principles and language, incl. the fundamentals of SD2 and SCPX call off
Business administration competence

Overall understanding of business processes and interdependencies
Knowledge of process steering instruments
Knowledge and good understanding of business processes
Knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics
