Position: Senior Accountant
Department: Finance
Working place: Baku
Line manager: Head of Accounting & Finance Department
Responsibilities
1. Opening bank accounts;
2. Obtaining new financing for the Company;
3. Preparing rolling cash forecasts analysis for the review of senior management;
4. Allocating resources (with internal staff and outsourced provider, BKC AP) to ensure the following: a. invoice processing in AP module of ERP, b. preparation of payment orders, c. reflection of payments in Cash module of ERP;
5. Ensuring necessary accruals are posted in GL module in ERP;
6. Preparing periods for closing, managing closing of modules before 10th of each month following the reporting;
7. Ensuring enough funds availability at Company’s bank accounts and VAT deposit account to execute payments to vendors and authorities;
8. Managing payments from bank accounts and VAT deposit account;
9. Preparing AP / AR ageing analysis to ensure no outstanding payables;
10. Assisting in preparation of monthly VAT returns, quarterly WHT returns and quarterly reports to SSPF within timelines stipulated by legislation;
11. Supporting external and internal auditors during the audit of corporate books;
12. Communicating issues to senior management on time and contributing to their fastest closure.
Education Higher education (Bachelor’s degree on finance, accounting)
Experience At least 4 year work experience in the field of finance
Computer skills MS Office, Outlook.
Languages Proficient in Azerbaijani, Russian, English
Personal skills Behavioral Person with high integrity, agility in work, with good communication skills, initiative, responsible for results of work done
