Amec Foster Wheeler is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Scaffolding Supervisor (National)

The successful candidates should have the following capabilities:

• Typically 20 plus years relevant project construction experience
• Significant experience at Scaffolding Supervisor level with particular emphasis on QC//Certification.
• A good knowledge of Scaffolding Processes and Procedures, and ideally be qualified to CITB / CISRS
• Advanced Scaffolder with Registered Card Number.
• CITB Advanced Scaffold Inspection Safety Certificate.
• Minimum of 10 years Scaffolding Experience
• Extensive Knowledge in Designing of Conventional and System Scaffolds to BS 5973 / EN 12811-1 Standard,
• Extensive Knowledge in Training to BS 5973 / En 12811-1 Standard,
• Good spoken and written English
• Valid Medical Certificate which complies with Company Standards

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSE Policy, Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards, actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.
• Assist the Construction Site Manager to ensure Compliance with project Safety objectives throughout the life of the project.
• Ensure that in addition to quality and good engineering practice, planning and cost must be a permanent concern.
• Maintain good relationships with Contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary to achieve the objectives of the Project.
• Liaise with Other Technical Disciplines, Safety, Cost, Planning and Administration sections to improve effectiveness of the overall Team.
• Keep the Construction Site Manager informed of all events which may affect the successful completion of the project goals.
