Blue Planet Distribution MMC is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to join our team and help grow sport retail and resort businesses.  Passion, desire and integrity are traits we look for in our teammates. You will play a key role in acquiring new customers and leveraging loyalty programs through effective retail events and promotions, and tracking success of those programs with measureable results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and execute Media Planning and Advertising, Strategic Partnerships, and Public Relations
• Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans for new store openings and relocations, working in tandem with other departments to produce and deliver all elements
• Develop, coordinate and manage event and local store marketing budget for each business
• Work closely with GM and Retail Director to understand seasonal brand initiatives, quarterly marketing goals and objectives, prioritizing and allocating resources as appropriate.
• Prepare reports and presentations on a weekly and monthly basis, and upon request
• Present fresh and creative perspectives that drive customer acquisition and store traffic, that are track able, scale able and repeatable
• Partner with Stores, Store Operations and Merchandising and lead the briefing process and marketing execution for in-store and external marketing events and promotions
• conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
• analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
• Develop, manage, coordinate and analyze all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
• identify and prioritize local marketing opportunities and  partnerships that enhance customer perception for each brand and reach new audiences

• Familiarity with the fashion industry, and everything the business needs for work, active and casual wearing occasions.
• University education in Marketing, Business or Commerce
• 2 years’ experience in Marketing and/or Brand Management preferably in retail environment
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Fluent in Azeri, Russian and English
