Purchasing Manager
 
Head of Purchasing is responsible to source all materials required for the hotel.   The basic duties include ensuring that all materials requests are processed in time. Coordinate and manage the overall operations of the Purchasing to ensure that all departments of the hotel have adequate supplies to perform their duties in an efficient manner. Reports on time for duty, well groomed, enter the attendance record. Regularly check with receiving the status of balance of outstanding in the local purchase orders. Everyday basis checks all purchase requests, if it is duly signed /approved by Department Head.
 
To optimize the procurement policy (frequency of orders, order size, time of ordering, the minimum balance on the stock), taking into account changes in consumer demand, seasonal variations, the deadline for implementation, the situation in the production of specific foods, as well as other necessary factors.
 
Regular statistical analysis by commodity groups and individual items, identify profitable, marginally profitable and unprofitable product groups, to provide adjustment of procurement policy based on such analysis.
 
 
Study the marketing information, business proposals and marketing materials to identify sustainable demand for new product groups and / or changes in demand for products from the existing product range.
 
 
Takes measures to improve the efficiency of material resources by reducing the costs associated with their purchase, delivery and storage. 
 
Required Skills:
 
University education.
Experience in the same role in 5 star hotel: >2 years
Managerial experience: >3 years.
Hotel pre-opening experience is plus
Advanced computer user
Analytical skills.
Excellent English.
