Amec Foster Wheeler is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Quality Manager (National)

The successful candidates should have the following capabilities:

• Higher Degree in applicable discipline and/or experience linked to grade
• Technically  minded and commercially  astute
• Understanding of Project Management, design, procurement, construction, execution processes within Oil and Gas Industry
• Experience of Implementing Management Systems, Quality Control, Quality Control Aspects of Supplier and Contractors utilised for Equipment, Materials and Fabrication.
• Must be Proactive, supportive and a Team player.
• Able to challenge constructively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Identify internal staffing needs and provide resources for Cat C Projects
• Identify key risks to Quality ensure and advise risk mitigation or contingency plans are in place
• Provide project with a robust and simple Management system which establishes Amecfw and client requirements, ISO9001:2008 requirements.
• Administer Management system making changes including continual improvement.
• Establish a Robust and proactive reporting and tracking system.
• Ensure QA and QC input activities related to each individual project scope of work determine and provide to Project SOW requisitions, Packages, Fabrications for major and Minor Projects.
• Plan and manage development of existing National Team. (Nationalisation Program)
• Carry out regular reviews of department performancesfor QA/QC and DMG.
• Manage Non conformances, Improvements and facilitate investigation and closure.
• Raise the standard of Requisition content and process.
• Review and implement Quality assurance requirements and processes for supply of Materials and Equipment.
• Manage and co-ordinate all inspection activities.
• Liaise with engineers regarding quality issues until closure.
• Maintain an ongoing audit programme, based on risk, addressing all quality-critical and safety-critical processes.
• Liaise with LRQA and manage all appropriate actions to ensure the project maintains its ISO9001:2008 certificate.
• Monitor QA/QC Performance of Suppliers and Contractors.
• Hold regular Quality Management Review meetings as per ISO9001:2008 requirements.
• Approve holiday/leave travel and timesheet for Project QA Department personnel.
• Attend Client/Contractor interface meetings and report on Quality aspects.
• Establish regular meeting in support of Document Management Improvement.
• Develop reporting mechanism of DMG process and deliverables.
