Duties & Responsibilities
 
Primarily accountable for logistical support for company assets in Caspian Sea region including importation, exportation and storage of related oilfield equipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACOUNTABILITIES:

International Personnel logistics to include meet and greet, transportation and accommodations. 
Plan and manage all importation and exportation processes and activities
All record keeping of inventory, movements and preparation of various reports.
Organization of transportation and delivery methods for good to offshore locations.
Develop and maintain relationships with local agents and vendors within the framework of the company's supplier agreements
Track movement of inventory to/from offshore locations (daily planning and decisions about priorities)
Performs the Replenishment, Inventory Control and Shipping Processes
Interface with line management and/or clients to discuss special/urgent needs
Coordinate the physical and financial control of materials and equipment;
Ensure effective storage management, maintenance and inspection of company and if required client materials
Organize the operation of the warehouse to ensure an effective management of order forms or applications received.
Assess any damage and loss of goods, preparation of the proper claim/paperwork
Oversee the correct disposition of the goods, hazardous waste in accordance with company policy and local rules and requirements.
Responsibly to create and issue requisitions and coordinate Purchase Orders (P.O.) issued from Aberdeen to suppliers.
Ensure control of delivery invoicing notes, ensuring invoices are passed to appropriate department.
Periodically perform inventory control, managing compliance between stock levels and records
Define the measures necessary for the proper storage and conservation of raw materials
Ensure compliance with the HSSE policies and regulations (Safety, Health at Work and Environment) by workers of the area / department.
Maintain an active role in identification of improvement opportunities in HSSE systems, and watch where relevant, in implementation of these improvements in the company.
Be aware of the Trade Compliance procedures and ensure ethical behavior on all aspects

Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required.

General

Assist with any other duties as and when required.
Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.

Safety

Align the applicable aspects of Quality Management and HSE Management Systems.

Other

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.

Qualifications
 
High School Diploma.
Good English written and oral skills.
Working knowledge of Logistics Laws, standards, and guidelines.
Working knowledge of Codes and Laws for employment within Azerbaijan Republic.
Good communicational skill sets.
Computer Literate. (Microsoft Excel, Word).
Minimum of 4 to 5 years experience within Logistics related Operational environment.
Experience preferred to address Oil and Gas related Industry. (Onshore and Offshore).
Very good knowledge storage of equipment and materials used in current operations of an oil base
Very good organizational skills with a high attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Fluent spoken and written English
Good analytical skills and sense of initiative; highly motivated
