The Embassy of Malaysia in Baku, Azerbaijan is seeking qualified candidates for the following post:

HUMAN RESOURCES & FINANCE CLERK

Among the duties of the successful candidate will be:

• To maintain record of Local Recruited Staff;
• To advice the Embassy according to the Labour Law;
• To maintain and update Leave Application, Leave Chart, Punch Cards and Duty Rosters.
• To do the documentation, record and update report on all financial matter including preparing payment, record of allocations and receiving payment;
• To prepare statement of expenditure and payment;
• To prepare Bank Reconciliation Statement;
• To maintain petty cash;
• To prepare monthly allowance / salary for Home Based Staff and Locally Recruited Staff;
• Assist in the issuance of cheques and bank transfer orders and other relating matter with the Bank;
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly statements;
• Responsible for the closing of monthly and yearly accounts;
• Responsible for the preparation of Tax and Social Securities Fund statement;
• Responsible for claiming Tax for the Embassy and all Diplomatic Official;
• To assist in arranging the necessary clearance from appropriate authorities for Duty Free Goods for Embassy and Home Based Staff;
• Assist in the preparation of yearly estimates and supplementary allocation; and
• Maintain Petty Cash.

Successful candidates, should at minimum, possess the following capabilities:

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Azeri;
• Minimum secondary school qualification and having 3-5 years relevant working experience;
• Excellent IT knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and others);
• Is a positive minded, dynamic and a team player; and
• Has good planning and interpersonal skills.
