The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance. It directs and coordinates the international relief activities conducted by the Movement in situations of conflict. It also endeavours to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles. Established in 1863, the ICRC is at the origin of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
The ICRC Delegation in Azerbaijan is seeking candidate, male or female, for the position of:
HR Assistant (Grade 5)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the Administrator in HR issues:
• Executes administrative tasks such as payroll, updating of personal files etc.
• Follows up medical insurance cases
• Follows up taxes / social security contributions
• Ensures information flow for HR issues
• Advises management on local HR customs
• Follows up the HR legislation in the country
• Participates in staff recruitment
• May supervise junior staff
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
• High Education (University or Institute)
• 4 years work experience in a similar field of activity
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English and Azerbaijani, Russian is an asset
• Very good computer literacy
• Good rigor, method and analytical skills
• Capacity to train and to supervise
• Treats information confidentially
• Good negotiation skills
