Position:  Accounting Administrative Assistant

Roles & responsibilities:

• Greets and directs all visitors, including vendors, clientsand customers;
• Places, receives and routes calls through a switchboard. Supplies information to callers, relays messages and announces visitors; 
• Performs basic clerical tasks. Operates basic office equipment. Sorts and routes incoming materials;
• Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail. Operates manual and electrical mailing equipment;
• Systematically arranges letters and other indexed documents according to an established system;
• Performs accounting duties that include assisting with financial reports.
• Prepares journal entries and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary accounts; prepares monthly financial statements, including distributing monthly revenue and expenditure reports.
• Makes wire transfers and reconciles monthly bank statements.
• Calculates and prepares reimbursement billings and tracks receivables; reconciles monthly accounts receivable.
• Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.

Education & experience:

• University degree;
• Minimum one year experience in similar position.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of the following:

 • MS Office knowledge (mainly MS Excel);
 • Fluency in Russian, Azeri and English languages;
 • Excellent communication skills;
 • Mathematical accumulation ability;
 • Only Female candidates.

Competencies:

 • Must have knowledge of document imaging/scanning hardware and software, and experience in creating electronic copies of documents.

Salary: 500-600 AZN monthly.
