Position: HSE Adviser
Roles & responsibilities:
• Have a sound knowledge of Statutory HSE Regulation, industry HSE standards and ensure their correct implementation.
• Ensure company HSE policies and procedures are implemented consistently and effectively, and are known and understood by all employees.
• Install any revisions to procedures as directed by the HSE Department.
• Monitor the results and quality of TRA, Method Statement and PTW.
• Conduct effective employee HSE induction in the language appropriate for employees.
• Regularly inspect the work areas to identify unsafe acts and conditions and advise line-management of those that cannot be immediately corrected.
• Provide meaning full advice to line management on HSE matters including legislative and industry standards.
• Organize the incident investigations and compilation of complete reports in timely manner.
• Monitor inspection of concrete, welding and painting processes and hidden works;
• Monitor the system of maintenance and inspection of live saving and safe and fire-fighting equipment.
• Co-operate in all matters relating to the proper functioning of the Company Quality, Environmental and OHSAS System.
Education & experience:
• Higher education in Technology / Economy
• Minimum two years’ experience in similar position
Required Skills And Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of the following:
• Computer training Word, Excel
• Azeri, Russian and English languages
• Good Negotiation ability
• Interpersonal skills
Competencies:
• The ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
