Job Description Title: Asset/Inventory Controller

General Overview

To develop and maintain a system to facilitate that all assets within the sales area are being utilized to their fullest potential.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent minimum (oil&gas  sphere), college preferred (technical)
• Associates degree in accounting or business management discipline with minimum 2-yrs work experience, or
• Internal promotion with minimum clerical work experience at manager’s discretion.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize reports within TAT to monitor asset utilization.
• Observe the monthly asset master reports to ensure depreciation effects the correct cost centers.
• Move assets that are not being utilized properly to other districts in demand within Downhole, or offered for sale when applicable.
• Tracking all incoming assets, follow up and update within sending locations, provide the planned arrival dates to Operations Manager
• Work with facilities to ensure that assets in demand are sourced.
• Monitor trends and report quarterly forecast to area manager for future requirements of Capex allocations.
• Controls all scrap and new asset transfer within facilities.
• Organize, compile, and assess efforts and information from quarterly asset counts at facilities to establish and improve TAT accuracy.
• Work with facilities to set up Safety Stock and further controlling and monitoring the SS level
• Work out the plan to reduce the inventory and provide the report on monthly basis
• Participate in action plans for new projects as defined by supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned
