Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management;
  • Monitoring of the implementation and effectiveness of the site HSE management system;
  • Work to maintain global alignment for HSE Management Systems and daily HSE activities;
  • Interpret and implement the Global HSE requirements;
  • HSE induction training
  • Required HSE instructions after start of site activities resulting from project specific extensions of the 'Risk Assessment Construction Site';
  • Training on HSE matters (depending on need for improvement);
  • Implementation of the permit to work system (e.g. technical check of the work permit sheets incl. the applicable documents);
  • Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations;
  • Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary;
  • Keep records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements;
  • Record of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers;
  • Ensure the safe installation of equipment; Comply with all HSE procedures and policies;
  • Monitor the use of the required personal protective equipment;
  • Check the implementation and effectiveness of the protective measures determined in safety walk records and incident investigation reports;

Required skills/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working in construction is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position
  • Fluent in Azerbaijani, English – is preferrable
  • Certificate of Ministry of Emergency Situations
