Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management;
- Monitoring of the implementation and effectiveness of the site HSE management system;
- Work to maintain global alignment for HSE Management Systems and daily HSE activities;
- Interpret and implement the Global HSE requirements;
- HSE induction training
- Required HSE instructions after start of site activities resulting from project specific extensions of the 'Risk Assessment Construction Site';
- Training on HSE matters (depending on need for improvement);
- Implementation of the permit to work system (e.g. technical check of the work permit sheets incl. the applicable documents);
- Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations;
- Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary;
- Keep records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements;
- Record of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers;
- Ensure the safe installation of equipment; Comply with all HSE procedures and policies;
- Monitor the use of the required personal protective equipment;
- Check the implementation and effectiveness of the protective measures determined in safety walk records and incident investigation reports;
Required skills/experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working in construction is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position
- Fluent in Azerbaijani, English – is preferrable
- Certificate of Ministry of Emergency Situations
