Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (CIDC) Baku LLC is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.

Following successful commencement of Production the Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC. 

We are currently looking for Procurement and Logistics Specialist to join our Company.

The duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Coordinating all Procurement and Logistics activities include researching, identifying, and evaluating raw material suppliers for pricing and quality
• Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
• Contact a range of suppliers to obtain quotations and place commitment based on price, quality and according to project/demand, company policy and budget.
• Meet suppliers and negotiating the most favorable terms of contract.
• Sourcing alternative equipment, goods and services to ensure prices remain competitive with no compromise of quality.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new ones for future requirements.
• Actively involved in, and promote, enhancements to current ways of working/processes.
• Attend production meetings and supply procurement status reports.
• Cooperate with Production Planning team
• Assists operational planning team for product phase out planning, analyze inventory and distributes reports for disposition of material approval.

Requirements and skills for this position:

• University Degree (Technical or Industrial Engineering degree is preferable)
• Relevant work experience 3-5 years (experience at the construction sites or in a production area is preferable)
• Fluency in  Azeri / English / Russian
• Strong MS Office skills
• Knowledge of ERP system
• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities.
