Procurement Manager – Village & Games Services
Purpose
This role deals with some of the key procurements for GT –Catering – Waste – Cleaning – FF & E and associated requirements for the Village operations
Key accountabilities
• Working closely with VGS team to identify requirements
• Focus on engaging local companies for services
• Producing tender documents
• Procuring FF & E from the Far East
• Contract Management, including complex and critical Partner Agreements for Catering
• Managing the tender process end to end
• Evaluation of proposals
• Obtaining quotations for goods and service
• Working with local companies at all venues
• Maintain and update the procurement plan
• Organise and attend supplier presentations and clarification meetings
• Work and deliver to tight deadlines
• Work with Legal and Finance in relation to new contracts
• Contract Management and ownership of specific contracts
• Work with All BEGOC FA`s to ensure smooth delivery of the procurement program
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• 5 Years + procurement experience
• Proficient Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
• PC literacy: knowledge of Microsoft Applications; with the ability to produce documents to a high standard of presentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well organised and capable to meet deadlines.
• Capable to work efficiently under stress.
• Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively and establish effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
