Road Events Transport Manager
Purpose
To plan and manage Transport Operations for Road Events
Key accountabilities
• Participation in the Venue Transport Operations planning of the Road Events
• Professionally represent Transport function in all cross-functional planning meetings for Road Events
• Liaise effectively with Client Transport Systems (CTS) to resolve transportation systems issues in respective venue(s)
• Liaise effectively with Venue Transport Operations (VTO) to resolve venue related issues
• Participation in the Test Events Planning and Operations
• Coordinate VTO, CTS and TRM operations during Games Time
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• Graduate preferably in Business Administration and or Sports Management with 5 years post-graduation experience.
• At least 2 years experience in Operations and/or Planning in previous Games of equal or higher scale and intensity as Baku 2015 European Games
• Must be an advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and have experience using database systems and Visio
• English fluency required. Azeri and/or Russian is desirable
• Driven to deliver excellent results under pressure and at pace with multiple tasks and deadlines, without compromising quality
• Displays the highest levels of integrity, commitment and negotiating skills
• Natural communicator able to work in a multi-disciplined team
• Well-organised and extremely detail oriented
• Friendly and approachable, remaining resilient & positive through change
