Position required: Lawyer
Employer: Sinteks Group of Companies
Reports to: General Manager
Sinteks Group of Companies is the Fashion/Jewelry/Food&Beverage Retailer in Caucasus with more than 500 brands in it’s portfolio in the Region. A current activity of the Sinteks Group of companies is Franchising of fashion, jewelry and F&B brands: Gucci, Dolce&Gabbana, Burberry, Emporio-Armani, Valentino, Chaumet, Gloria Jeans Coffee and others.
Responsibilities:
* Revision, drafting, cancellation and etc. of all required legal documents, e.g. contracts(labor, rent, sponsorship, debt and others), agreements, etc.
* Conducting of legal research in order to ensure that all existed or planned operations are in compliance with the related law and regulations of AR;
* Providing of timely information about all changing on domestic legislation and international standards(if required);
* Handling legal briefs and correspondence, responding to official letters, requesting different permits and etc.;
* Representing the company in civil and administrative proceedings;
* Research for foreign law and advice in preparation of documents accordingly e.g. tax and social payments for expats, compensations from partners and etc.;
* Handling of problem cases, suggesting of possible ways of resolving the different issues and further monitoring the progress of them
Requirements:
Knowledge
* Excellent knowledge of domestic legislation: Civil(practically all requested issues are regulated by this law), Labor, Administrative
* Knowledge of Criminal, Commercial Taxes, Insurance and Contract Law is desirable
* Knowledge and understanding of current judicial system and situation in the country
Skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in Azerbaijani
* Capability to take responsibility, act independently
Experience
* At least 3 years of work experience as a lawyer in law firms or as a Corporate lawyer with experience in civil, commercial and administrative law
Qualifications
* Bachelor degree in Law (master degree is preferred);
* Member of Lawyer's Board is desirable
