Duties and responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule and budget;
  • Monitoring overall progress and using of resources, managing project risks, initiating corrective action where necessary;
  • Communicating project progress and identifying risks to stakeholders and upper management;
  • Organization of seminars, workshops and forums;
  • Accompanying delegates in Germany and Azerbaijan (if required);
  • Planning, conception and organization of social events;
  • Acquiring and overseeing the services of external providers, such as identifying suitable venues, catering, lighting and sound equipment, moderators and singers, translation equipment, and translators (for forums, workshops, etc.);
  • Coordinating tasks and responsibilities, team meetings;
  • Coordination of project/ event marketing campaign;
  • Communication with customers and partners;
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Representation of Messe München in Azerbaijan and Georgia:

Support for visitors

  • Information on all trade exhibitions in Munich.
  • Information on travel options and hotels (if required);
  • Support in the provision of trade fair tickets.
  • Visa support (Invitation letter);
  • Organization of group travel (if required);
  • Organisation of B2B meetings and translation services (if required).

Support for exhibitors

  • Advice on the organisation of a stand;
  • Help in applying for an exhibition stand;
  • Organisation of joint stands (together with other exhibitors);
  • Advice on printed materials and promotional items.

Trade Fairs in Azerbaijan:

  • Acquiring exhibitors (German companies) for the selected trade fairs of Caspian Event Organiser LLC (CEO LLC).

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Social and Political Sciences, Media Science or Economics;
  • Knowledge of English and Azerbaijani languages at an advanced level (both oral and written communication); German knowledge would be an advantage;
  • At least two years of experience in implementing events/projects;
  • Organizational skills, strong communication skills, adaptability, flexibility, punctuality, negotiation and sales skills, teamwork skills, customer service orientation approach.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;
  • Ability and willingness to travel regionally and internationally
