Core duties and responsibilities:

  • With your expertise and excellent customer orientation, you will acquire new customers and carry out strategic developments for existing customers.
  • You  accompany inquiries and projects, clarify technical and commercial aspects, present solutions and organize corresponding test runs at the customer.
  • You identify customer projects, prepare offers and implement  follow – up measures including conclusion of the contract.
  • You continuously observe market trends, customer, and competitive developments, identify market opportunities and innovations.
  • You act as an interface between customers and internal departments.
  • You take care of customer data maintenance, order entry and documentation using internal CRM system.

Requirements:

  • Citizen of Azerbaijan.
  • University degree. Preferably with a technical/engineering or food technologist background. MBA or master’s degree in any business function is a plus, but not a must.
  • You are an engineer / technician or food technologist and have 5 years of track record commercial experience in a similar role in an international industrial equipment manufacturing company. 
  • In addition to the Azerbaijani language, you have very good language skills in English, Russian language skills would be an advantage.
  • Minimum five years of track record commercial experience in a similar role in an international industrial equipment manufacturing company, ideally in the industry of packaging and/or in food processing. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiations skills necessary for both successful relationships building with current and new potential customers, business partners. 
  • Ability to learn fast a new product portfolio. 
  • Outgoing personality, networker, and relationship builder with strong analytical mind. Local market knowledge and relevant industry connections are a huge benefit. 
  • Ability to analyse and interpret B2B, industry and competition trends. Marketing research skills and understanding of main subfunctions of marketing & sales.
  • Strong team player but also ability to work efficiently in an autonomous mode.  
  • You are an outgoing personality, networker, and relationship builder with strong analytical mind. Local market knowledge and relevant industry connections are a huge benefit.
